Many of the Coalition’s colleagues are actively engaged in helping to bring Stop the Bleed to  communities around the country. Here are some resources to help get trained and train others …

The American College of Surgeons bleeding control program. Also, known as the Stop the Bleed Course, this program is designed to teach the lay public the fundamentals of how to recognize and intervene upon severe bleeding.  www.bleedingcontrol.org

The Uniformed Services University has an ultra-short online training program and a free smart phone training app. https://stopthebleed.usuhs.edu.

The “First Care Provider” https://firstcareprovider.org and FEMA’s “Until Help Arrives”  https://community.fema.gov/until-help-arrives are more robust and comprehensive community oriented training programs that incorporate the principles of Stop the Bleed.
